SO WHAT HAPPENS IN A CARLSON PHOTOGRAPHY SENIOR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE?

THE SNEAK PEEK | You get pre-portrait planning at Carlson Photography. Once you have reserved your portrait session, you and a parent will visit the studio a week or two before that date for a Sneak Peek.  At the Sneak Peek, you will see an image show to get more ideas of what you want to do for your portraits. You'll get valuable information about clothing selection and tips on hair & makeup. You get a tour of the studio so you can see where you'll be photographed; both in our camera rooms and our outside locations. We'll just spend some time chatting to get to know you and what YOU want your portrait experience to be like, and also what kind of portrait art you want for your home and family.

THE PHOTO SESSION | This is where the fun really begins! Before we start with any photography, we'll help you relax by just reviewing your outfits and any special ideas you have for your photos. After that, all you have to do is just be yourself and have fun. It's our job to capture your natural expressions and poses. Expect talking, joking around and a lot of laughing! Before you leave, we'll schedule your next appointment when you'll view the amazing images we just captured.

THE PREMIER ORDERING SESSION | About 10 days after your photo session, your images will be ready for viewing. You and a parent(s) will return to the studio for your Premier Ordering Session. During this appointment, you will view an image show of YOU. Then we will help you go through the process of making your selections of favorite images and portrait products and place your order. We offer Portrait Collections that start at $689, or you can order Ala Carte. You will also get to choose from other unique portrait art options. At this time, a minimum of 1/2 the order is due, and then the final balance will be paid at your portrait delivery.  Due to the custom nature of your order, the finished portraits are ready in approximately six weeks.

THE PORTRAIT DELIVERY | When your finished portraits are ready, we will call you to reserve a short appointment for you to come and pick them up. All portraits you ordered frames for will be finished with a dust cover, framing hardware, bumper pads and be ready to display at home. All you will need is a hammer.

At Carlson Photography, your high school senior portrait session is all about YOU --- who you are and what you love.  Your images will look like no one else's. We take the time to get to know you, so we can give you the portrait experience you are looking for.  If you want to be pampered, you got it.  If you're not sure what to wear, we've got you covered with our Senior Portrait Guide filled with tips and suggestions.  Guys --- we know mom wants amazing images of you, and you just want this done.  No worries! We promise your session will be easy and fun!

All sessions include a pre-session Sneak Peek at our studio (where you get more ideas on what you can do for your session and a tour of our studio and photography locations) and a personal Image Reveal where you select your favorite images and order your portrait art about a week after the photography session.

ULTIMATE  |  $495

An amazing portrait experience. You can be photographed both in our studio, outside on location in our 2.5 acre photography landscape, PLUS at one other location (within a 20-mile radius).  You get your very own one-on-one design consultation with our photo stylist to plan your dream session.  Choose up to 8 different outfits to wear.  We will dedicate four hours with you to capture the ultimate senior portrait images. Minimum portrait investment of $2000.

PREMIER | $295

This is perfect if you want a lot of variety and personality in your session. You can be photographed both in our studio and outside on location in our 2.5 acre photography landscape. Choose up to 6 different outfits to wear. This session is great for having one or two outfits that reflect a sport, activity or hobby that is important to you. And the rest of the outfits can be a mix of casual, fun or formal. Plan for up to 2.5 hours of photography. 

ESSENTIAL | $195

Our most popular session for girls AND guys. You can be photographed both in our studio and outside on location in our 2.5 acre photography landscape. Choose up to 4 different outfits to wear. Your choice of outfits can include casual, fun, formal, or maybe an outfit that reflects a sport, activity or hobby important to you.  Plan for 90 minutes of photography.

EXPERIENCE UPGRADES | $50 EACH     (Each Upgrade added allows you to wear one more outfit and adds more images photographed to your chosen session above.)

FRIEND - best friend(s), girlfriend, boyfriend, sibling(s)

PET - dog, cat, rabbit, goat, snake or anything else that is your pet (to be photographed with your horse, ask for a special quote)

VEHICLE - car, truck, motorcycle, snowmobile, bicycle, ATV, etc.
